Hair rollers!

Does anyone use the actual curlers that you twist your hair around and then leave?

I would love to have curly hair more often, but my hair is getting ruined by using the electric curling tongs that i may use once or twice a week (i do use protection spray).

Just wondering if anyone uses the old fashioned type curlers..and how they work, any recommendations?? and do they damage your hair also??

:)

I use Sleep Rollers (thats the brand name). You CAN sleep in them but I can't quite get comfy enough and find I wake often with them in. I do leave them in during the day though if I'm going out that night. I don't think they damage my hair, probably a lot less then using heated rollers/straighteners/tongs on.

Try curling your hair with rags, you get a nice tight ringlet and you can sleep with them in.

I sometimes use bendy rollers. The trick is (with me anyway) to take them out a good two hours before you go out, they start off quite tight and need time to drop a bit.
