Because I like to plan ahead. And its navy and studded - what's not to like

Zara had some lovely looking stuff in - just wish they'd clear the sales dregs away now - surely if that vile yellow dress hasn't sold in the last 8 months its not going to sell now even with 50% off?

Oooo that's gorgeous! Envy

Does it have a zip/buttons? (practical hat on)

dexter73 · 19/08/2012 20:22

That is a lovely coat. It is a good time to buy it as they are all in stock at the moment. I am planning a trip to Zara next week as I have seen lots of lovely things online but not in the flesh yet.

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:26

Oh its really lovely - really nice material and a very neat fit on the shoulders. No buttons as such but you know it looks nice Wink And I have barbour parka for practicality.

Dexter - there was a lot of stuff that looked lovely but was in a hurry so just grabbed coat and ran.

No buttons? You clearly don't live in the North West! Grin

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:28

I might hit the shops on Tuesday. My dh has been off work for the last 2 weeks so not too many shopping opportunities. Also have a few shopping brownie points as he has just spent £££ on a new racing bike (I am a cycling widow at the weekends!).

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:30

Oh God Dexter so am I and now the Spanish tour has started so there goes every evening

dexter73 · 19/08/2012 20:32

We have just watched tonights highlights Hmm and he has booked us hospitality tickets for the final stage of the Tour of Britain!! Woopee!

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:35

I am so not telling my DH that. Every year he wants us to go and watch the tdf and every year I watch it on tv and say 'but it seems to rain all the time'

MrsSnow · 19/08/2012 20:38

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:40

Oh MrsSnow - DH did lamarmotte this year as a corporate hospitality thing so you know - its like he's one of them now Hmm

I love that coat too, am trying to justify it but I have a very similar shaped navy one so can't really.

I like this cobalt one, and have no blue coat so might be able to persuade myself!

thenightsky · 19/08/2012 20:43

OP that is a stunning coat!

noddyholder · 19/08/2012 20:44

I have the other one and am praying for low temps Grin That is lovely

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:45

Oh the cobalt one is lovely too. I do think Zara do really good coats and fairly reasonable prices.

OP posts:
VerityBrulee · 19/08/2012 20:48

I love this one too, you can't beat a navy coat with gold buttons.

noddyholder · 19/08/2012 20:49

i have this

GeorginaWorsley · 19/08/2012 20:50

Like the coat, spotted it online a few days ago.Not usually a fan of Zara,I would like to be but never seem to find instore/online what I am looking for.Online delivery slow too imo.
May go looking again though Grin

madmomma · 19/08/2012 20:50

Fabulous coat! Such a shame I look like a corpse in navy Sad
I remember Trinny Woodall remarking in one of the vileT+S books that Zara jackets and coats are as well cut/made as top designer ones. Only ever had one Zara coat but it was the most beautiful, flattering black skirted-trench (singlebreasted too, which isn't easy to find). Some bitch nicked it after I'd had it a fortnight and I've missed it ever since

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:53

What a bitch Madmomma! I've got a navy coat from there from last winter [anyone spot a theme] and it got so many compliments.

Noddy - I saw that one and thought of you.

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:53

Must confess I have shamelessly copied 2 friends who already have the studded coat - good job they don't live near me or that would be embarassing.

OP posts:
noddyholder · 19/08/2012 20:56

Studded is lovely but I bought ash studded boots last year and don't want to look like a sad old rocker Grin

thenightsky · 19/08/2012 20:56

I love Zara. It is the only shop I can guarantee to find something to buy.

Unhappy73 · 19/08/2012 20:57

Love that noddy I have this , this and this I LOVE Zara Blush

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/08/2012 20:58

Oh lovely Unhappy.

I bought an ivory spring coat earlier this year and god I love it - again many compliments and people thinking it cost £££ when it was about £70.
