Best jeans for a boyish figure.

Can you tell me what jeans you have bought that are really flattering please if you have a slim boyish figure.
I impulsively bought some Levis bold curve yesterday from TK max just because they were £24 .Realised afterwards they are actually for people with a curvy figure and don't really fit me properly at all! Never owned a pair of Levis before and I love the feel of the denim though.
I usually go find hipsters quite flattering.

Watching as would like some tips on this!

I have seen the Levi slight curve in my local TK Maxx, but didn't like the fit overall; the rise and the calves didn't seem right for me.

Hate to say it but the M&S jeggings have been the best fit for me, but they are quite thin and won't last long, I think. Have you tried them?

kerstina · 19/08/2012 17:47

I think I did see them but I find Marks sizing a bit big. Am tiny and I don't think they even do 6's.
The slight curve would probably fitted me better if I had seen them. I don't know what I was thinking buying something bold curve !!

I'm 5 foot 9 inches and size 6?8 ? I like Next (bootcut) jeans when I am in this country.

Yes I must admit I have always been very happy with next hipster petite boot cut jeans, have worn them for years but just thought there might be more flattering ones out there. I bought Boden skinnies but they look really frumpy waist too high.

I would say next too, or topshop baxters, if you are looking for skinnies. Oasis for bootcuts or flares. Sometimes gap as well. They do do the m&s jeggings in a 6 petite but with not a lot to hold them up I reckon they'd be round your knees by lunchtime. I am a size 6 and have no butt but no real waist either and jeans are a 'mare. Let me know if you find something amazing!

Levi Demi curve look fab on me.
I am quite tall and straight up and down - very narrow hips.
I also find generally that skinnies from Uniqlo and 7 For All Mankind fit great.
Also, Earls fit well if they have some a clingy fit. If not, forget it!

MrsShrek3 · 20/08/2012 01:57

Usually I go for next "boyfriend" which are really flattering, or skinnies with a nice bit if stretch Smile generally h&m.

Thanks for all your ideas will let you know if I find my perfect pair. My friend bought some of her sons old clothes round for my son today and the jeans looked like they might fit me which they did actually. They were only cheap george ones 11-12 but the fit is pretty good Grin That might just be the way to go ...

I don't have hips to speak of and I always wear straight leg jeans, I've got a couple of pairs of boring straight leg next jeans and a pair of tommy hilfiger jeans from tkmaxx. In the winter I'll get a couple of pairs of primark super skinnies to double as leggings and to tuck into uggs. I spend 99% of my life in converse/cons lookalikes even at work and I'm not a fan of skinnies with trainers.
Gap jeans look lovely, they don't fit me right I've never worked out why?
