Curly hair styles

I've been growing my curly/wavy hair but as its got longer the weight is pulling out the curls. Last time I asked for some layers which now spring up nicely but you can still see the long straggly curls underneath.

It's shoulder length overall, but wondering whether to go shorter again. Would an inverted bob work? With sides a bit longer than the back? Trying to avoid the 'triangle' look with a flat top and curl ends.

My hair sounds like yours. I wear it in layers, shortest length quite short, and the 'length' overall reaching my shoulders. It has to be layers, or like you say, it goes flat at the top and curly at the ends. I blow dry every day to get a nice overall bounce, I use frizz ease products which keep it nice.

I've got a graduated bob as my roots are flat but the bottom is very curly so I am prone to having the triangle hair otherwise. I'm also petite with a short neck, so I can't really wear it long.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but I'm pleased with it so far - its just long enough for me to tie back if I want to but short enough to be easy to manage.

My hair is cut kinda diamond shaped in its cut so lots of layers but to my shoulders and I pin it with kirbies to change the look. The main diff for me was finding a hairdresser who knows curly hair. Mine cuts it, dries it then cuts it again.

I call it the Crystal Tipps look rather than the triangle Grin

I gave up trying to find a hairdresser that understood curly hair. Now I hack it into it myself periodically when it's getting too bushy Blush
