Bra sizes

Hi my girlfriend has 28 HH cup bra size and finds it virtually impossible to find a comfortable bra which will give her the support she needs. This makes her very miserable as she has to cope with constant backache. She has recently tried Curvy Kate and being mail order has been posting bras backwards and forwards for weeks.
I have seen these woven knitted bras advertised on the shopping channels and wondered if any of you more generousy endowed ladies can recommend them.
Alternatively does anyone know of a really good shop somewhere in the South or even the London area where she can get proper expert advice.

Has she tried Rigby and Pellar. I feel for her, it's bad enough being 32E and trying to find comfortable bras. I get mine from triumph, they are not the prettiest, but they are comfortable.

I'm pretty sure Bravissimo do that size-I'm a 30F so I feel her pain! Either that or R&P.

I'd get a breast reduction. No bra is ever going to make it comfy to carry that rack around.

Has she tried this web site: www.ewa-michalak.pl/eng_m_Bras-119.html ?

The bras are very reasonably priced and come in a huge range of sizes.

She wouldn't ever discuss it on an open forum no matter how anonymous.
Understandably she has big problems talking about them. She really has this self loathing thing going on. It took me ages to get her to take her bra off when we make love. Only time I get to play with them is in bed with the lights off. She will never take a shower or a bath with me. She really does hate them which drives me nuts as I adore them.
The first time we slept together she told me there was no way she would ever let me see them. She has started to trust me and this has changed a little over time. She is 48 and never had children so not exactly a teenager this is something she has lived with for years
I just desperately want to help her. She has spent weeks ordering and sending back bras from places like Curvy Kate and still can't find anything which is comfortable. Which is what prompted me to ask about somewhere she could get proper fitting advice. The back band on the bras she wears is so tight I sometimes wonder how she can breathe.
If she knew I was on here she would go spare.

No one needs surgery. At a 28 the boobs themselves arnt actually that big even at a hh. Big yes but not insane.
If she has backache she needs to strengthen her back with back excercises just like anyone with a weak back.
This would be very comfy and comes in her size:

When did she last get measured? If the back band is that tight maybe she's wearing the wrong size. They are meant to be tight to give support but not excessively.

StatisticallyChallenged · 25/08/2012 07:23

If you want a shop where she won't be made to feel odd then somewhere like Bravissimo would probably be the best bet as the last thing you want is her getting faced with a fitter who comes out with "I've never seen anyone that size" or some other pearl of wisdom. I have been the same size as your girlfriend and they always had plenty of options in my size and in stock so I could actually try lots on.

Other place to try, which I haven't been to personally, would be Leia leia who do a pretty good selection of bras and have a few stores down south.
