Brazilians and umm periods - and yes I know I'm letting the side down but hey ho

So having spoken to my lovely waxer today - she tells me its fine to have brazilian done when you've got your period - you know as long as you're using a tampon or a mooncup I guess [clueless as to mooncups]

But is this right? Or am I goingto be even more embarassed than usual?

I go to the Strip Wax place and that's what mine says too. She says it may be more painful and they ask you to put a fresh tampon in before they start. I've never done it though. Too

God I know but have left it too late to cancel without paying for it - am going to risk it I think.
