Does anyone know if it is possible to lose 3, 4, or more stones in weight without ending up with all that loose skin?

I need to lose weight (I think about 4 stones at least) as I am 5'2 and 13 stones. I am 25 so I don't know if my skin is too old to just shrink back as I lose weight.

I think that you will probably be alright at your age, actually. Just lose the weight sensibly (ie gradually through better food choices, rather than one of those crazy milkshake crash diets) to let your skin acclimatise on the way down.

I'm young (ish! 29) and lost 5 stone recently. I only have the flabby skin of doom on my stomach which, I think, is more of a post-pregnancy thing than anything else.

I'd think you'd be fine. I gained and lost over 4 stone with 2 of my pregnancies and the skin is fine. Perhaps more crepey than before but certainly no squirrel action.

Agree slow consistent loss would be best and I'd also do exercise and slather on some body oils regularly.

I am aiming for slow loss. The problem is I tend to be all or nothing so either eat tonnes or really cut back.

I saw a woman on tv who lost loads of weight and ended up having a full body lift - scary!
