Make up techniques to cover ance scars?

I had terrible acne as a teen. Now I'm 27 luckily I don't get many spots, but I have terrible pitted skin across my cheeks as a result of my acne.

I like to wear a fair bit of make up (old habit from my spotty days) and like good coverage, but I'm still conscious that my skin doesn't look nice and smooth Confused

I currently use a cheap primer from Tesco, MAC studio fix fluid and then bronzer and pressed powder on top.

Does anyone have any tips or product recommendations? Thank you!

I use a Loreal foundation called Visible Lift. It is meant to be for wrinkles, but I find it really does fill in where I had acne (temples).

Have you tried a better primer? Smash box do a good one. You can buy from qvc and try it out and return it within 30 days for a refund if you don't like it,
Have also used the Laura mercier one which I liked.

I have similar skin OP, acne scars on cheeks. I paint them in with MAC studio fix concealer, then set with mineral powder (which I use as foundation on rest of face).

Thank you for the tips! Bloody spots, they bother you even when you don't have them anymore Hmm

I've recommended this before on here but Lisa Eldridge does a brilliant tutorial on covering acne scars.

I have a patch of old acne scars on my cheek and Vichy Dermablend concealer covers them right up - as in totally invisible. Think you can get it in a variety of shades from Boots.

Bare Minerals Matte version and Bisque concealor.
