Flattering Running Tights

Need a new pair and could do with pointing in the right direction.
Just tried Sweaty Betty's and they were a bit ordinary - fabric was too thin to be flattering. Would love a pair that made my bum look shapely and my thighs look slimmer am I asking the impossible? A friend has recommended Lululemon - but unfortunately they only retail in the USA.

I like the Nike Pro range, often come up on Sports Direct too for discounted prices.

Thanks for heads up about the SB running tights (incidentally - was it the '10K' tight that you tried) as was planning to treat myself when I shrink out of current Nikes.

i really like the aldi ones

SpringGoddess · 17/08/2012 13:34

I tried the 10k and the zero gravity, thought the zero gravity were better but not worth £75. I currently have a pair of Sugoi tights, they were bought 5 years ago but they are great quality but I have dropped 2 stone since I bought them and it's time for a change.

I like all the Asics tights, light knee length or long and winter weight. All good. Depends what type/how long you run for really. They do look really good on. You can't beat Ronhill for VFM though, they wick sweat away as good as any other tights, and they seem fine for 5km or so - seam placing and overall finish isn't as good though. Asics tights all have flat seams so no chafing and look better on too.
