So sad! Can anyone help me?!

Today (my birthday Sad ) I lost my favourite cardigan. I was spending the night at my boyfriend's house and between my house and his I lost it. Spent hours this afternoon retracing footsteps, checking the car and both our houses and it's totally gone. I think it fell out of my bag and someone found it and took it. Can anyone help me find a replacement? It's the black version of this one:

www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/uk/en/21052/189507/672055/CARDIGAN+WITH+LACE+APPLIQUES

and I'm a size small (in this cardi at least). So far have checked ebay and google, found on the US Zara site but they won't let me order it over. It was just so perfect - nice buttons, low v, interesting lace detail - I had been looking for the perfect black cardi for years! Any help/ ideas gratefully received! I've emailed Zara on the off chance they have some but am not holding my breath.

This might not be much help, but have you considered using a parcel forwarding service? You would have the cardigan shipped from Zara to the parcel fowarder's address in the US, who would then forward it onto you for a small fee + shipping (just be mindful of how they value the item when shipping as customs charges apply over a certain amount). I've not used one from the US to the UK before, but have used them in the past when I've lived in other countries.

Thank you for the idea violet, it's not something I've heard of before but sounds really interesting. Unfortunately I just checked and the cardi has sold out in my size in the US store. It was such a good sale bargain too!

Have you tried eBay or any other second hand places? Try just googling the exact name or description in case anyone is selling one on?

By the way I'm in the USA at the mo so if you can have one sent here I'll post it to you Smile

That's very kind of you berri thank you. I've checked ebay and so far nothing - it's only just stopped being sold in shops so I guess no one's had time to get sick of it yet! I think I'm going to put up a 'missing' poster in the road where it was lost just in case someone nice found it.

Worth a try. Also worth popping back into Zara as they often repeat a lot of their cardigans (or do a similar one).
