So I've dyed my hair using two bottles of dye and have mainly even coverage but

Where we were being careful of 'glowing' roots we have missed them at the front so it's noticable... I have bought another box but wondering whether I have to use the whole lot or whether I could mix a little and save the rest for touch ups at a later date...??

Ummm not sure - but as a regular home hair dy-er i wouldn't want to risk only mixing up a little bit of it. I'd mix it all up - use what you need and chuck the rest away x

I have mixed up half a box before and touched up roots, it was fine.

Well, after much googling it seems it is fine to but it's the quantities that's tricky (I'm rubbish at maths!) 40ml bottle and 60ml bottle, I've mixed 1 teaspoon to 1 and half teaspoons... Think that's right?? Confused
