Just received this, possibly the most boring collection of garments in one place that I've ever seen! I'm 53 (and a Nan) and this stuff is wayyyyy to mumsy for me!! What's going on, Johnnie?

I thought that too for most of the range. The tops are awful.

The classics like the jackets and coats are lovely though.

I was torn, half of it was fugly - the other half cheap & nasty fabrics.

I don't mind paying a lot for clothes, I do mind paying 120 quid for nylon!

Going to go against the grain and say that I was quite impressed. Dresses frumptastic (and in sweaty fabrics) but I really like the seam detail trousers and those suede ankle boots. Lots of nice autumny colours too.

I have just returned FOUR dresses to Boden: cable knit dress, Hannah dress, Laura dress and pretty stitch dress. I tried all of them on for dh and he wasn't wowed by any of them. Either shapeless or too old for me. Thanks dh for making me see the light - Boden dresses are really frumpy.

Effortless suede boots on the other hand - gorgeous!

I got the black- I love them - can be worn with leggings/skinnies or dresses with tights.

The sizing seems spot on, I went for my usual size and they were fine.
