poncho recommendation (arm in a cast!!!)

never thought I'd say this but I think I need a poncho.... something that's warm, easy to get on and off and won't get in the way when looking after my lively 2 DC.

small budget (hopefully only going to need it 4 weeks) do any of these from tesco even vaguely pass S&B's critical eye ? (tesco points)

I saw the cream cable knit one in Tesco and was quite tempted and I haven't got a cast on. I think it could look ok with skinny jeans. Am not mad about the rest of theirs though. As you've got special knitwear needs at present, I'd be tempted to go for it.

funnily enough that one was the one i was drawn to at first too. just worried it won't be as cosy as the longer ones!!!

I thought the longer ones were a bit too long somehow. The nice cable knit one might not be as warm but it's still pretty warm out (well in Yorkshire it is anyhow) and hopefully by the time it gets chillier you'll have your arm up and running again?

I've got one of these and it's absolutely beautiful and very practical. I bought the blue and get lots of compliments. Am going to buy a second one and the gloves to match.
