I bought a lovely knee length jersey dress from Next for Autumn. Cn't do links but it's short sleeved, just on the knee with golden pheasants print. What tights and boots would you wear with it?

Burgundy/wine coloured tights and brown Chelsea boots

Ooh burgundy hadn't thought of that! Like it. Have been looking at tan and brown flattish ankle boots.

Alternatively you could do grey tights and grey heeled ankle boots.

i have a navy white co. dress (your dress sounds nicer though)
i usually wear with dark grey tights and brown boots, or red mary janes.

Damn! I need to keep away from S&B. Have just searched for this on the Next site and LOVE it. Had to buy it. Thanks OP! will be looking for red mary janes now

I'm boring and wear mine with slightly purplish navy tights and navy suede wedge desert boots (very comfy and leg-lengthening).

MarshaBrady · 14/08/2012 20:25

These are nice,

Or ecru tights and caramel/tan knee boots.

hello
This is my very first post but have been reading through all the good advice.
Has anyone seen boots like these ones (yes Boden, I know frowned on!). I have wide feet and the reviews seem to suggest these come up narrow on the foot so no good. I would prefer to try on anyway. Have tried all the usual shoe places. Any thoughts please? Needn't be quite as purple as these but not black or tan/light brown please.
thank you
