I don't think I'm an actual dress size - I sort of slip between them

My measurements are 39-32-39

I fancied [[http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Vtg-1950s-style-Green-Cream-Butterfly-Rockabilly-Pin-up-Party-Swing-Dress-12-/271032425912?pt=UK_Women_s_Dresses&hash=item3f1aca9db8 this dress] for a wedding

But the size that would fit me, would have handsful of spare material at the waist (well 4 inches but I think that's a lot)

So is there a brand/make that might be closer in size for me?

Dress is gorgeous! Could you get it altered to fit you properly? Wouldn't cost much. A friend of mine always looks amazing and it turns out it's because she gets all her clothes altered to fit her.

Have total sympathy for you re: no actual dress size - I have always fallen between two and am finding even while pregnant I am between sizes - how can this be possible?!

Maybe

I wonder how much it would cost?

I think I'll keep looking

I'd need an 18 in Vivien of Holloway
