Fabulous new parka by Aigle that I spotted in the store window yesterday.

It says it is "imperméable" which is French for waterproof!

Both jolly nice.

As soon as there's a navy one it's mine......

These are lovely and the sort of thing I like, but out of my budget. This sort of look is so easy to find in the rest of Europe and to suit different budgets. Why don't we have shops stocking these styles in the UK? All I can find is anoraks, yuk, stuff with no hood (a joke, it's the UK, look at our weather!) or nasty short-waisted things best left to teenagers.

Do any of you who find the Aigle coat too expensive ever check out Benetton these days? While some of it is really awful, there are some good things there at great prices. I saw a very pretty Sisley coat there the other day.

Brilliant, great to hear its waterproof I'll hold on in the hopes they do a darker colour for dog walking.

It is in sale for about £70 in several places (none of which I can remember right now ...)
