No. Just screams "I think my butt and thighs are really massive!!" So even if they are, you would only draw attention to it.

ggirl · 11/08/2012 18:07

christ no
they draw attention to you

I wear a two piece from Toast (I know, I know) that looks like a swimdress. I am a size 8-10.
Wear what you feel comfortable in.

Zhaghzhagh · 11/08/2012 18:19

I think if you are a larger lady a swim dress would look better than a swimsuit, yes.

Ruprekt · 11/08/2012 18:19

I was thinking of my Mum.

My swimsuit is from Bravissimo and very lovely. Smile

Hell yes.

I am fat and nothing is going to make me look slim, but I feel better to not have my thunder thighs wobbling away in full view of everyone and having my Vogon belly hidden a bit. So they all know what's under there, but I feel better thinking that they can't SEE it Grin and since it's how you feel in yourself that really matters, then if you like them - wear them.

JennerOSity · 11/08/2012 18:20

Bit odd on an adult IMO - would prefer something like
this

similar idea but more sexy

a little shape assistance

similar idea

JennerOSity · 11/08/2012 18:20

sorry

another idea

There are always a few ladies wearing them at are local pool. They do not suit anybody, and just make wide hips look hipperier. A well cut one piece with tummy control and decent boob support is much more flattering.

MsKayGee · 11/08/2012 18:24

No, sorry, they are awful.

HecateHarshPants · 11/08/2012 18:28

Oh, I promise you it's not! If you've got a belly to your knees you do NOT look better in a swimming costume than you do in a swimdress Grin

snowmummy · 11/08/2012 20:30

absolutely nay. sorry.
