Agree Zara is looking fab this season. I have found quite a few pieces that I have loved. Really really like the pretty ballerinas dona! I would love to find a shoe like that but with height....maybe a wedge that is v discreet. A bit like some of the TB ones of old! If you see any please let me know.

OllieinOrange · 11/08/2012 14:47

At playground but did you all see the Boden Winter Preview is up?

here

I like the sequin top you pinned Always

alwaysrunninginheels · 11/08/2012 14:48

Oh I do like it dona but agree the ruffles would not suit me. Why is it so hard to find a white shirt though?

OllieinOrange · 11/08/2012 14:49

And this loose fit jumper

Any codes about???

alwaysrunninginheels · 11/08/2012 14:49

ollie I may just be swapping animal print for sequins as am loving them at the moment! I found a few pieces that I liked and will try. I know Boden is a style fail in the eyes of some but I like some of the not so boden boden items!

OllieinOrange · 11/08/2012 14:55

Yes, me too. Sequins just keep catching my eye. Still debating whether this Warehouse top here is a good buy.

OllieinOrange · 11/08/2012 15:00

Oh, just seen you get 20% off via Boden Preview website anyway.

Like the Kindle covers too!

alwaysrunninginheels · 11/08/2012 15:01

I tried that on the other day. It was really nice but the colour just didn't work on me. It was a more nude than cream. But the style was lovely. I stopped a lady in a queue yesterday to ask where she had gotten her lovely sequin top. Really vibrant blue and sequins that were just the right size....asda! Asda! I was gob smacked....may be venturing there soon!

Hopefully · 11/08/2012 15:19

SE think this shift in lime would be good on you.

notyummy · 11/08/2012 18:34

Hic! Champagne cocktails in friends (massive) garden since 4pm whilst children play tennis and run wild. 3 cocktails down..more to go!

MarshaBrady · 11/08/2012 18:40

Chin chin NY and everyone out, and in!

Impromptu night out. In the rooftop sun Smile

alwaysrunninginheels · 11/08/2012 18:45

ny marsha enjoy!!!!!

Hopefully · 11/08/2012 19:07

Ooh, enjoy your al fresco drinks NY and Marsha! DH and I are having a thrilling evening watching olympics (so nearly over! sob!) and trying to work out the logistics for house move (we get the keys next weekend, and are moving out of our place entirely on the bank holiday weekend). Double eek!

Emo76 · 11/08/2012 20:30

cheers ny and marsha

olly I really like that top. thought of you today as in Reiss I saw a really lovely navy scarf with silver edging and I thought it was very "you"- it's not on the website but I will look out for a link.

talking of Reiss, if anyone likes/suits foresty greens they had some v nice things in. was out shopping for DDs ahead of holiday - some bargain tshirts/vest tops for both from Gap and a mini blow out on some deeply discounted remants in the Petit Bateau sale. Less excitingly, I got some running tights, adidas 3/4 length if anyone is interested!

notyummy · 11/08/2012 20:55

More champagne (and gin...) down and a Mo Farah win. Was shrieking at the tv. So exciting.

Hopefully · 11/08/2012 22:03

Yay for Tom! And Mo! And generally all Olympians.

Dauphin · 11/08/2012 22:22

Howdy. Knackering day gardening and doing chores whilst supervising uber-energetic Dcs in FO sized paddling pool! All whilst DH was playing Golf and then out male bonding on 'Stag Do'. (Ever the martyr, me).

Giggled at mrscb's mention of renewed interest in athletics....I made the mistake of commenting on finding Mr Bolt rather, er, attractive to dh..(apart from when he does his ridiculous posing, that is)- (why do they do that!?)...but nevertheless...nice physique. Feel very self conscious now, when ogglingwatching the boys.

Off to read in bed with Camomile tea and await DHs drunken steps....

Dauphin · 11/08/2012 22:29

P.S. Bloss- took Converse but too hot to wear in France, you'll probably find the same....I took 4 pairs shoes; flips for beach (Havs), tan sandals for days out; ballet flats and pewter slides for eves.....thought that very constrained for me....

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/08/2012 07:34

Missed most of the olympics last night so catching up on Gabby's programme now - she looks amazing!

DD put something up her nose so trip to A&E and back next week for her to have it removed probably will need a GA which I'm rather nervous about.

So children - don't put things up your noses. It is a good place to hide things during magic tricks but the hospital trip on a Saturday night sort of takes the edge of the trick.

notyummy · 12/08/2012 08:22

Sorry to hear that Mrscb. Such a common thing isn't it? Why do they do it?!

Lying in bed with hangover listening to 5 children playing downstairs. All seems civilised so far.....

Hopefully · 12/08/2012 08:23

Morning!

MrsCB how alarming. It will be fine when it happens, but it feels like quite a big thing, a GA. I will note this fact before attempting any magic to impress my children though...

Had a dream about Tom Daley last night that was just wrong Hmm Grin. I don't even think he's remotely attractive!

Approx one billion things to do today so I can sit and watch the closing ceremony later without feeling I ought to be working through it.

Hopefully · 12/08/2012 08:23

My mum put a bean up her nose when she was a kid and they only realised when it germinated and she started getting terribly headaches.

FritziGreenEyes · 12/08/2012 08:55

mrscb Shock So whatever it is, is still stuck in her cute little nose?!

bloss Hope you had a safe trip and have a lovely breakfast in the sunshine. Smile

notyummy Drink lots of water?

Had a great time with our friends last night. The children had their dinner on a picnic blanket in the garden, out of earshot and we had such a relaxing time drinking and chatting.

IceCreamCastles · 12/08/2012 09:44

Have a great holiday bloss- I'm sure all shoes will be useful

Pickled-I'm intrigued by your emails to dc-what sort of things have they been up to?

Prefer Blake to Bolt in terms of eye candy and Ryan Bailey is very pretty too!

MiM- I do feel for you- but you have lots of beautiful clothes and I'm sure you look great in them- agree that shopping in heat is a recipe for disaster.

Decam- your horse experience sounds terrifying. I'm quite wary of horses, particularly the back end and will be glad if dd bypasses riding (expensive too!). Will be tricky as you can actually see the local riding school from her bedroom window!

Ds just woken up-back later

MarshaBrady · 12/08/2012 09:48

Hello lovely Icey

Sounds like a lovely night Fritzi.

We are taking one last slice of gorgeousness in the sun before the weather changes. Sun bed, breakfast, pool. Very nice!
