lol Ollie. You should get on there.

Blimey am tired. Thankfully dh walked in and took over.

OllieinOrange · 14/08/2012 20:16

Oh MrsCB. I would be necking the prosecco from the bottle in your situation. Glad DDs procedure went well and you had such a positive experience. Know exactly how that hour can feel like 3.

AmberNectarine · 14/08/2012 20:33

Aw this and thought of blue

OllieinOrange · 14/08/2012 20:34

I am roaring with laughter at Everything giving a mouse a stroke by screaming at it! Brilliant.

MarshaBrady · 14/08/2012 20:40

Really like that JCrew bag.

Effective SE!

blue2711 · 14/08/2012 20:41

Well done on surviving such an ordeal mrscb and your DD too. So glad it's all over.

Happy anniversary dona!

Am so excited for your new career hopefully. It must be a great feeling to know you're nearly ready to start.

Am potty training too mim (sigh). It is not exactly going well but, like Macbeth, we have come so far steeped in blood poo, that it feels like the only way is to go on. I keep keep trying to offer up bargains to the powers that be, like I will give up my lovely new car if only potty training can be over! Hope it's going better with you!

Had a look through the newly named Baukjen catalogue this evening (formerly IO). Quite fancy trying the clingy jersey skirt and red leather skirt, especially with 15% off.

Loving pinterest more and more. Enjoying shaping my A/W wishlist and also shopping my wardrobe. Had no idea what to wear at the weekend, so picked a picture to imitate of black skinnies, white t shirt, bright blazer. Dug out an old pair of TS Pippa black skinnies from years ago, which I never really liked but are now perfect: great fit and length and ankle zips. So pleased!

Made a weather inappropriate purchase today: the NL ankle boots. Have been thinking about them for ages, hope they're as nice as they look! I now have a ridiculous number of ankle boots for A/W and not a great deal to wear them with. Looking forward to rectifying that!

Ooh lovely work dress

blue2711 · 14/08/2012 20:47

Love that bag amber! Unfortunately DH has got it into his head at the minute that I have too many bags already. Silly man. I've actually starting daydreaming about the gold AH maxi satchel. I have a Bayswater by the way, a black one with shiny gold hardware, and use it for work mostly. Feels too formal/classic otherwise. I like it though, pleasingly glam, capacious and not too heavy, I don't find. But then I do also have the Roxanne, the world's heaviest bag!

MrsCampbellBlack · 14/08/2012 20:50

That is a very sexy work dress Amber!

Blue - are you on a deadline with DS? DD was just 3 and it literally took us one day and she's now dry day and night and including the traumas of today. I did my boys earlier and it took a lot lot longer.

Seventh - fancy popping round and screaming? DS1 went on a mouse hunt but they're hiding - mil who looked after boys today commented how fat they looked and speculated they were pregnant. Shudders - ignores - drinks more wine at thought of mouse babies in my utility room.

Emo76 · 14/08/2012 20:54

Yes yes mrscb re leaving potty training a bit later if possible!

amber I love that dress

Anyone other bake off viewers feeling like eating a lot of cake ?!

AmberNectarine · 14/08/2012 20:56

Did I mention I met my DH at work mrsCB? Wink Maybe I need to tone it down a bit. Thought of you today, when the friend I met for lunch mentioned that her girlfriend is a big Jilly fan.

Nice stuff Blue

That Baukjen new name is a funny one. Wonder what the story behind the change is.

First night without nappy for ds2 last night!

blue2711 · 14/08/2012 21:00

mrscb oh I am so Envy. I have left it until 3 as well but he really must be dry for September as he is starting nursery school and they like them to be out of nappies. And he is so ready for preschool and I am so ready for him to go that it seems a shame to let this beat us. But it really has been a long job and I am plagued by 'it only takes them a day or so when they're ready' stories and guilt. He has pretty much cracked wees, as long as he is reminded to go, but I have spent a good part of this last month cleaning poo from pants... Sorry for tmi!

AmberNectarine · 14/08/2012 21:00

It's not that bad is it? That is the sort of dress I wear to work... I'm worried now that my colleagues think I am a slutty dresser!

blue2711 · 14/08/2012 21:02

I really like that dress amber! And MW suggest wearing it to the office...

AmberNectarine · 14/08/2012 21:02

marsha it is an odd name to choose. I understand why they might want to put a bit more distance between the brands as IO is synonymous with maternity wear, but I'm not sure they've made the best choice...

MrsCampbellBlack · 14/08/2012 21:04

Blue - he'll be fine - in fact he'll be better at pre-school as they always are. Did you find any shoes?

I need to get DD's uniform and shoes in the next couple of weeks and then I'll have 2 free days a week!

Amber - Kim K would wear that dress when pretending to go to work as a businesswoman Wink

It's a very odd name! Doesn't feel right for the clothes.

I love that Birger dress so much. And it's a good price. Give it a whirl?

blue2711 · 14/08/2012 21:05

I would wear it to work amber but then I am rather partial to clingy clothes, so may not be the best judge!

MarshaBrady · 14/08/2012 21:05

OH the name of the founder. There you go then Grin
