I need really really comfy ballet flats....

Having read the 'frumpy thread' I diagnosed myself as 95% frumpy. Not good! Since the diagnosis, I've made several steps in the right direction:

  • skinny blue (dark blue) jeans
  • ballet flats
  • (still looking for nice ankle boots for winter)
  • longline cardi (not waterfall)

I'm enjoying my new clothes, but have one problem - comfortable footwear! I walk a lot during the day (maternity leave & a baby who likes to be walked to sleep, not to mention the calories it burns!). I was wearing trainers before, but obviously can't wear these with my skinny jeans without looking like a clown. I really need something nice looking, but mega comfortable...

What do you think of these? Are they awful? I think they look 'ok' and will almost certainly be comfy.... What do you think?

I think ballet flats are the ultimate in frump. They are so dull.

I bought a pair of £15 brogues from New Look that are the comfiest things I've ever worn.

Sorry, no to those shoes from me. What about these? cheaper and nicer?

Oh I didn't look at the crocs. Oh dear, no no no!

These or these both comfy and both cheap, both look good with jeans.

Whats the frumpy thread? Could you link please? :)

Dirtymistress · 09/08/2012 17:17

Deary me. Please don't buy those. Topshop's ballet shoes are soft as butter, dirt cheap and come in many colours.

I second the top shop ballet flats, the most comfortable ones I've found, I've worn mine outSmile
