Where can I have make up done?

I am 28 next month and have very very rarely worn any make up as I never had any need or interest to be honest.

However I am noticing dark circles under my eyes, wrinkles appearing and so on!

I would like to have natural looking make up for every day wear but don't have the first clue what colours suit, what exactly to wear! Are there any shops etc that you can have a make up session then buy products and off you go?

bobbo brown counter , they're quite good at a natural look
may be worth booking a makeover though

Larger boots stores most of the premium beauty counters do makeovers.

Try asking in boots for help with shades - someone should help you. Test foundations on your neck as its closer to your face tone than the back of your hand. If possible check it in natural lighting too as many stores lighting make foundation look very differently. If you have good skin I reckon a good quality titnted mousturiser and a little cocealer under your eyes will be all you need. BTW poundland currently have Stila (a very good brand) tinted moisturiser and pressed powders for £1. Both contain high suncreen too which is a bonus. I have stocked up :)

Thanks, I have olive skin and it's clear, it's more the darkness under my eyes. I lost two stone of weight over last year (currently eight stone) and I think that's contributed to the changes to my face. I think I will head to boots and ask for help!

Actually poundland have a great selection of make up at the moment by brands such as rimmel, max factor, maybeline etc they are not the latest seasons colours but for £1 you cant really go wrong and its cheap enough to buy loads so you can experiment with colours. I got a lovely maybeline quad in there yesterday in gorgeous neutral nude shades for 50p as it was slightly damaged.
