TK Maxx All Saints bargains :-)

Visited local store today to find it awash in All Saints stuff. Some of it was clearly always destined for the bargain rack but I managed to find a Kenti jacket for just £40 reduced from £195!!!

Have been looking for a black jacket for A/W for ages but every blazer I have tried always feels too office-wear.

oh yes, I bought a really nice All Saints bag from there last week - a kind of metallic bronzey leather. I love it!

Bugger, never even considered checking out accessories!

Can feel another visit coming on :)

That's a lovely jacket!
I just got their 'Boni' Double-breasted coat for £40, marked down from £350! Was £220 on Ebay.

Better I have been really surprised at eBay prices of All Saints stuff. I can't believe what it goes for!

Theres a bit in the Coventry store too, just nothing I liked.

I never thought to visit the handbag section either, avoid the snakeskin though, it's real. They skin the snakes alive to get it. They take ages to die.

OMG. Fluffy that is vile! I can't understand that kind of practice these days. Is that true of all snakeskin products? Or just the supplier for this particular brand?

I know Mulberry are very careful which exotic skin suppliers they use, shame that other companies won't do the same.

I really dont know, but I always assume it's endemic. Just to be on the safe side really. Plus the suppliers can say they kill the snake first when the company visits them and go back to their own practices when they have gone.

They do the same with fur too. You wouldnt think it would happen in this day and age but it does.

Bit like shark fin soup, they catch the shark, cut it's fins off then dump it back in the sea to die. Again it takes ages.

I do despair of the human race.

horrible. Luckily it isn't snake, and I wouldn't have bought it if it were

AmberNectarine · 09/08/2012 10:18

Tbh I can't fathom why anyone would want a snakeskin bag anyway. We have so many fantastic synthetic alternatives. And yes, I know this is hypocrisy because I wear leather, but I am naive enough to kid myself that the cows would die anyway for the meat trade.

Got a leather gilet for £40. Was £275! Checked handbags but nada.
