Help finding a work bag needed...

I am going through bags every few months because I tend to put far too much stuff in them.

I want quite a large bag, ideally in red that can hold A4 papers. Budget £50 but can go up to £100 for the right thing. I think i'm not finding anything I like because I don't really know where to look.

Any ideas? I'm open to new styles and colours

Marking place as I could benefit from a decent work bag!

Liveinthepresent · 06/08/2012 21:09

This might be too worky but I rate the quality if you are carrying lots of papers / laptop

I like that one Liveinthepresent but I'm not keen on the quilted fabric purely because it would be filthy within weeks Blush, thanks though it is definately the style I usually choose.

slightly over

NagooingForGold · 06/08/2012 21:24

I want this one

Madammecholet · 06/08/2012 21:24

Knomo bags are on sale at Cocosa.com at the moment, you have to register to see them but have a look they are very cheap!

MariosTash · 06/08/2012 21:27

NagooingForGold I really like the Clarkes one and it looks big enough.

lindsell I like the Osprey bags in that link and they seem much more affordable from TK Max.

MariosTash · 06/08/2012 21:40

Marios-you said up to 100 quid. Some of them come under that! Take a look at the Selfridges site. I am sure the medium comes in at 75 quid (I think)

Liveinthepresent · 06/08/2012 21:51

Fair enough! Though am now wondering what sort of work you do to get your bag filthy!
I have one in the fabric that is about two years old and as good as new! Use it everyday for work.
Hope someone else it along with more ideas for you.

TheDoctrineOfEnnis · 06/08/2012 21:52

If you liked the knomo but not the quilting, this red leather one is in the sale but is still above your budget - maybe madamecholet's link will be cheaper:

MariosTash · 06/08/2012 21:53

Itsgottabebags I do like them so i'll definately be having a better look.

Liveinthepresent have you ever washed your bag? Did it come out ok?

OP posts:
MariosTash · 06/08/2012 21:55

www.stylistpick.com/leona I like this one and on the picture where the model is holding it it looks quite big but not the best colour for me.

OP posts:
MariosTash · 06/08/2012 21:56

TheDoctrineOfEnnis really like that one!

Some good options here - I likethe knomo leather Helena too.
No never washed mine - though am pretty sure one of my colleagues put her cream one in the wash and it's still ok.

NagooingForGold · 06/08/2012 22:10
