Ankle boots and cankles?

So I read that ankle boots are the way forward with dresses this autumn. Will this be a no no for those of us blessed with delightful cankles?

I have cankles and I wouldn't wear the bootee type things...those cut low down...but ankle boots that go up a bit further and with a heel of some kind are fine!

With a heel and a loose cuff around the ankle, yes they are fine. Check out Asos Aggie boots. I have worn those with bare legs and a tea dress this season. Alternatively black shoe boots are another good choice when worn with black opaques as they elongate the leg.
