Make up storage - acrylic trays

Can anyone recommend a good storage system for make up, similar to this:

www.theholdingcompany.co.uk/large-make-up-organiser-prodpf_hua007/

But a little less £££

Doesn't have to be two layers, could just be a simple tray. I've found a few on eBay which seem to come from the USA so postage makes it very £££

TIA

Muji normally have thing like this.

Ikea is bound to have something. I have seen them from THC and laughed like a drain at the price too!

Good shout for ikea, came across this. Not sure it's perfect, but for £14 it's worth checking out!

I second Muji. Bought lots of stacking drawers and trays for my makeup and jewellery just this week!

How about any of these
i know they're from china

but they are cheap

and they look good

trixymalixy · 04/08/2012 19:37

muji have loads of acrylic stuff

I use craft storage boxes a bit like this www.storage4crafts.com/shopx/product.php?productid=1365&cat=134&page=4

I tend to move my makeup around the house (don't ask) so I like it to be in one box and something I can easily carry.

The box I currently use I got from hobby craft but I can't find it on their website.

I was inspired by video and bought mine from Muji. Looks very nice and easy to find everything.

suntodayplease · 04/08/2012 21:53

Quite a few votes for muji, do they feel nice and solid? Will have to order online as no store nearby.

i use a wooden organiser thing that is nicer (imo) than acrylic, you could just get something designed for cutlery

MyinnergoddessisatLidl · 04/08/2012 22:01

Yes to muji, I have had mine for 8 years now, and no scratches or cracks. I wash in mild detergent and warm water and leave to air dry.

In cupboards I use those fabric zip storage pockets from Ikea, and stand up all my sun creams etc in them.

suntodayplease · 08/08/2012 22:14

My muji order arrived and it's fab! Ended up buying a few bits from the office/desk storage section. Great sizes and looks very simple and neat on my chest of drawers, def an improvement on the very tired make up bag! Postage was quick albeit a bit on the ££ side.
Thanks for the recommendation.
