I tried this on rec from friend as I have slightly red cheeks and don't want to do anything drastic about it as only really noticeable if I am v hot etc but dont want it to get worse as I get older! I have used for about 4 nights and the effect is amazing not just the redness a bit less bit skin looks very even. She used for pores and after 3 weeks her skin is perfect!

Oh noddy! I can't afford anything else and you know what a sheep I am

noddyholder · 04/08/2012 12:16

I hoped you would see this think she had same worry as you and it has worked I got it in holland and barrett £16 but I was considering getting them zapped so cheaper (plus dp said enough ha ha)

So it has reduced her open pores?

ValerieDavis · 06/08/2012 16:52

I use rosehip oil for a variety of different things - stretchmarks, scars and also just as a moisturiser - I swear by the stuff and have recommended it to all of my friends :-) One of my friends has rosacea and the oil has worked really well to improve the tone of her skin x

waitingforgodot · 06/08/2012 16:54

ok-so you put it on at night after cleansing I take it? (runs to Holland & Barrett)

ValerieDavis · 07/08/2012 14:09

I put it on every morning and night under my moisturiser - I use a type of rosehip oil called Rio Rosa Mosqueta and buy it online :-) Hope this helps!

noddyholder · 07/08/2012 16:50

Hi sorry missed this! It has really reduced her pores. I have a few broken capilliaries i am using it for that but my skin over all looks great. I got the trilogy one and you only use a few drops. It is very good my skin looks very even I am going to use it on my hands too as they are a bit 'old' too!

I am using it am and pm under moisturiser/foundation

I started to use the Trilogy one a while ago but found it didn't react with my skin very well so I switched the the Rio Rosa Mosqueta one and I'm finding it suits my skin type better :-) Hope you have great results with it though! x

I've just got some from Trilogy in the hope it reduces the redness & scarring of cold sores on my nose. It's a lot less smelly than the Decleor neroli one I've been using.

HeftyHeifer · 12/08/2012 14:47

I've just ordered a small bottle to try after reading the thread earlier. Hope it reduces a bit of redness and if it does anythng for my pores I'll be very happy.

BonDepart · 16/08/2012 13:35

I've just got a bottle after seeing this thread. I had a red vein zapped last year and it disappeared immediately (and hasn't come back - yet) but I've also got a lot of smaller ones on my chin that aren't noticeable individually like that one was, but just give an area of general redness. I hope the oil can help with it as zapping is £££ plus I tried two different zappers and the one that works for me is the one that leaves a lot of bruising for a few days. It was ok on the one vein I had done but I don't fancy my whole chin area looking like that. I couldnt' cover it up with concealer.
I'll update in a couple of weeks.

monkeysmama · 16/08/2012 13:39

I've been using it for about a week and am sure the renews has reduced and the scarring is looking less obvious.

BonDepart · 16/08/2012 16:10

Thanks monkeys. Fingers crossed it helps my redness.

Zwitterion · 16/08/2012 18:13

Trying this too. Just at night at the moment. Will report back!

CockBollocks · 16/08/2012 22:39

I found it cheaper on Amazon!

BonDepart · 17/08/2012 08:50

Well- my skin looks clearer already! Tried it for the first time last night and it's hard to describe but the pigmentation and redness just aren't so obvious. Even if it doesn't improve from here but stays looking like it does this morning I'll be very happy!
The effecrt reminds me of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair which I like a lot but is just too expensive for me to use currently.

Miranda Kerr spoke about this in an article recently.
