DM just discovered Bobbi Brown make up and skin care and I want to add to her collection for her birthday. What would you suggest?

Gel liners.

trixymalixy · 04/08/2012 08:58

Yy gel liners. Someone on here recommended and I am converted.

anniewoo · 04/08/2012 09:16

Moisture balm

SundaeGirl · 04/08/2012 10:19

Moisture rich foundation

Windsock · 04/08/2012 10:24

blusher
i am a lone dissenting voice on ye olde Bobbi brown gel eyeliner, yes they work but IMHO any thing that dries up so rapidly is not fit for purpose
get the clinique grey one instead.

also am recent convert to their brown eyeshadow used as a brow liner thing.

also never buy brushes instore - always way cheaper on ebay

Under eye creamy concealer.
Moisture rich foundation ( no good if your skin is remotely oily)
Eye shadows are so-so- IMO- I find th pans are too big TBH and get bored before I've used all the colour up. Would rather have smaller quantity.
Blusher is quite nice- all highly pigmented, but have heard NARS is better.

Brushes- worth the money IMO- those on Ebay are goodfakes.

Windsock · 04/08/2012 10:47

the cream bllush? agree the eye brightening pen is good

trixymalixy · 04/08/2012 10:55

Ah I haven't had the gel liner for long enough to have problems with it drying up.

Ameliagrey · 04/08/2012 13:06

TBH I'm disappointed with the cream blush. Have just bought a 2nd one - wanted to try a new colour- and as often, I've got it wrong- fresh melon supposed to be peachy pink, but still too pink. Wish I'd gone for Uber Beige.

Main concern I have is that it's really greasy- makes the cheeks look shiny which at my mature age is not good.

I think it's over hyped and it's not that good.

Windsock · 04/08/2012 14:45

Ah I have dry skin. So shiny good

Cartoonjane · 04/08/2012 15:07

I love the tinted moisturizer.

Hetaera · 04/08/2012 18:16

Lipstick in sandwash pink is lovely. A blue based pink so is good for the ruddy of complexion!

boodles · 04/08/2012 21:31

I love BB.
I have their old style pots of cream blush (much better value 3x the amount of product in the old pots) and I love it. I also love their powder blushes and own desert rose and nude pink. I love their heather mauve eyeshadow, would suit most, I think. I also love their bronzer, very natural looking. The best product ever from their range is the sparkle shadows, I have mica and silver moon and wear one of them every single day over whatever eyeshaow I am wearing.

As you may tell, I love BB.

The undereye corrector (pinky version) for my blue tinged panda circles. Had the sales assistant apply it for me today, so so pleased!

ineedsomepeaceandquiet · 04/08/2012 22:20

Does anyone know when their BB comes out? Had great reviews.
