Boden straight legs

I'm new-ish to Boden jeans and can't decide which size to opt for. So I have a few questions, hoping you experts may be able to help me out!

Are the straight legs (this season, if you have them) large or small fitting? I am usually an 8/10 in jeans but often have issues because my waist is a tad larger than my hips in terms of proportion (26ich waist, 34 hips) so I am worried an 8 may be too tight on the waist for me.

Also, are these jeans at all frumpy from the rear? They look fine on the site, but I am wary of 'arse lengthening jeans' and badly placed pockets (too high/too widely spaced).

Thankyou :)

I am not far from your measurements (25.5 w, 34.5 h) and I bought size 8 last winter. Fit me fine, although I can't comment on the frump factor as I have a sneaking suspicion I might be becoming one! Does being on any Boden thread qualify you?

More seriously, the denim is good quality, I find the colour a bit new-looking and even at first, but a few vigorous washes and I liked them better.

Thanks!
Have heard a lot of frump reports, which is what made me dither....but I can't for the life of me find a pair of looser fit jeans anywhere. Even straight leg jeans from higher end brands seem to have the skin tight fit around thighs, which I'm kind of sick of these days (even if this style suits you, it is so damn revealing and I am aching for a pair of regular fit slouchy jeans which aren't shapeless).

The Boden straight legs seem just right in terms of fit, and the vintage colour is gorgeous. I ought to snag a pair and send them back if they don't suit me, but I am miserly and don't want to wait 21 days for my cash back;)

Just sending back 2 pairs of straight legs. 12 too small and 14 too big. Have a couple of pairs of 14 from last year that are fine, so I think they're slightly bigger this year. I found the 12 was just too 'fitted' around the top thighs and I wanted a more 'relaxed' look. To be honest, I would get a pair and try them - probably 8s for you. Boden are really quick at processing returns so it wouldn't be that long from returning them

Bought the 10 from Autumn preview and found them true to size and really nice on - much better than the Gap jeans I'm currently in but no replacement for my Sevens!

Thanks again - I may try them in the 8.
Purchased my first pair of expensive jeans this afternoon - 7 for all mankind's roxanne skinny, and happily they are a rather loose type of skinny and hold my backside nicely!
So, backside pleased, bank account not so.

Jeans are my bugbear in this life, sartorially speaking.
