My neice loves owls and has been collecting ornaments etc since she was about 10.

Is this owl pendant too young for her do you think?

Lots of owl print things around just now but I think she may like it.

Can I just say I am not spending 99p on her birthday but she's coming to stay and I always get her a few wee bits.

I bought my mil one for Christmas and she collects owls too ..... It's owl city in the shops this year

It does, it's ever so strange, has all these metal bits behind the feathers so it kind of ripples when you move but they feel like teeny tiny rodent bones. Took me right back to my shoebox and shovel in the back garden days

This is the one in accessorise , website not working at the moment. Mine is the same with an enamel face and pink/ purple feathers. They seem to be doing a different version each season at the moment.

The scarf is fab, I think the pendant and handbag are not fab at all... but then I am 40 and not an owl fan. So what do I know? Since we're not in AIBU I am happy and relieved to be less opinionated.

Where I live there's a high concentration of hip, young things and I see them wearing animal pendants like the eBay one you bought.

Having had a look at them I think I may not go for the watchy thing after all but one of the others, perhaps the 'deal gerbil' one. I can confirm that she is still into owls in a big way so I'm not worried about that but I do want to get her something nice. She's a lovely lass.
