Nude tights are fine. I've see some from M&S recommended on here. But I would use Sally Hansen as it covers imperfections and doesn't 2clog2 on your knees like tan.

Sainos glossy shaper bout a fiver in nude is fab I even look slightly tanned Grin

They are fine, as long as they are approximately the colour your legs should be and not a disturbing orange tan colour (unless the rest of you is orange too)

I have really dry skin on knees too. Beautician says they are 'mum knees' Sad caused by playing on the floor with DC on knees all day. I use foot cream on mine or other super thick moisturiser and ped-egg them once a week.
Nude tights are fine m&s always good and they even do toeless ones if you want to wear sandals Grin

Second the toeless M&S ones!!

I wear nude tights to work because we have fierce aircon and I don't want cold legs or frostbite on my feet and don't want to always wear trousers.

Nude micronets are good in theory. Less so in practice.
