BODEN returns - poor quality- anyone done this before?

Am considering returning and asking for a refund on my Boden Lively Loafers bought this season. There were a lot of returns and poor reviews with people saying the soles were not good- the rubber is in small pieces and doesn't cover the entire sole.

I've worn them no more than 6 times mainly in the car and for short walks to the shops/office and the suede on the heels is wearing due to rubber sole stopping short of the actual heel edge.

Has anyone asked for a refund for poor quality items?

Watching with interest as I have a swimsuit that has lost all elasticity after 3 washes. Boden CS normally fab though.

oh dear - you should definitely send them back, boden is expensive!

Send it back -
What?s your return policy?
As you'll probably be aware, we operate a no-quibble returns policy and If you return an item within three months of receipt, will give you back the amount you paid for the item, or offer an exchange, whichever you prefer, no questions asked.
After this period, until the first anniversary of your order arriving, you can still return anything that does not meet your naturally high quality expectations (things like wear and tear are included, though garments that have been mauled by pets, drawn on by nephews, worn while decorating and so forth, don't qualify).
So if you're not happy, we will give you account credit for the amount you paid for that item. Almost all of you are lovely people and will see this as us being helpful and confident about how well made our clothes are, but there will be a few rotten apples who might look on this as an opportunity to refresh their wardrobe for free each season (you know who you are).
Anyone repeatedly trying to do this will get spotted, and a dim view will be taken, probably resulting in us parting company*. When returning goods which you bought using a discount or offer, we will adjust the refund accordingly if you fall below the discount/offer threshold, as that discount or offer will no longer apply. Should anything spring a fault in the first 6 months, we will, of course, give you your money back.
If you are a pathological chancer and simply can't help yourself , we recommend trying it on with our competitors instead.

On their returns policy it says if it doesn't last a year you can sent it back and get an account credit if it doesn't meet your expectations. I haven't done this myself yet but I do remember getting an email about it, So definitely worth sending back.

I bought some sandals last Oct in clearance, which when I was finally able to wear them this year (late May I think), quickly developed a fault (2 wears). I phoned them to talk about it as I thought it was poor but feared that the time lapse might be too great. They were brilliant and gave me a credit note for the full amount. I could have had an immediate exchange but for the credit note I had to send hem back for them to look (they sent a returns label). So yes - certainly worth a chat
