d'you think the staff at net-a-porter have a bet on someone being a) bonkers enough and b)rich enough to buy this?

LOL! It's a bit 'out there' I agree. Though I could see it being part of a sort of Harijuku type outfit? The finishing touch to an outfit on the lines of: stripey green/red tights, a black ra-ra skirt with a net petticoat under it, a silk shirt with pictures of sheep, furry arm-warmers and dutch clogs? Could work!

Sounds ideal for the school run popped Grin

I think even the models refused to wear it, hence the polystyrene head!

If anyone wants one of those, I would be delighted to make one for you for a similar price. Very delighted.

KandyBarr · 31/07/2012 13:26

Why, here's a taker

lurkingaround · 31/07/2012 13:28

More money than sense.

Loveleopardprint · 31/07/2012 13:29

There was a grown woman on Exeter high street wearing cats ears today! My children thought it was hilarious. She did have on punk clothes and dm platform boots too.

BobbiFleckman · 31/07/2012 13:30

that's the kind of thing an Ecclestone daughter probably buys for her halloween outfit

lurkingaround · 31/07/2012 13:35

I bet her teenage kids were no where in sight Loveleopard!!
Can you imagine going shopping with your mother in a cat's ears headband??Grin

Or: yes, I'll go shopping with you for a new, outrageously expensive sweatshirt that looks exactly like the ones in primark. Let me get my shopping ears.

Ooh, those ears might have a use!

lurkingaround · 31/07/2012 14:10

But then you'd have to buy quite an amount to justify the price of the ears. You could rent them out I suppose.

It'd be fun tho, looking at the teenager's sullen, horrified, terrified that anyone would see them expressions.

I bet Claire's does some for a tenner

lurkingaround · 31/07/2012 21:55

Expensive at a tenner.

Is there not something utterly ridiculous about spending £660 on dress up cat ears? Sheesh. First world. I like clothes but fgs....

noddyholder · 31/07/2012 21:57

I went to a fancy dress in cat ears once and more people than I was happy about said I looked good with ears Hmm. Inc dp

Do you not have ears usually noddy?

lurkingaround · 31/07/2012 22:47

Much as they suit you, noddy, I think their best use would be the anti-shopping with a teenager function.

"Let me get my shopping ears". Strike terror into the heart of any self respecting teenagerGrin
