Palmers Skin Smoothing Formula with Alpha Hydroxy - any views?

I used this for the first time today because as much as I love the original formula the smell can be rather sickly. However, now this is on my skin it smells rank!! Like coal-tar. Just wondering if I have a duff batch or if it is supposed to smell this awful?!

I have tried it and think it smells horrible too.

Oh no. Ok maybe I should cut my losses and bin it then and go back to smelling like chocolate!

Palmers is the only thing that improves the appearance of my stretch marks but I am not a fan of the chocolate smell after an early morning work out.

It is a nice cream just a bit sickly to smell.

I use it and don't notice the smell once it's been applied (in fact I think it smells better than the sickly sweet original version). Works wonders on ingrowing hairs too!

The sensitive unperfumed cocoa butter lotion is fab too (although I still detect a subtle whiff of the original) and doesn't fight your perfume of choice like the original does

Cheers for that Moomincow - will give the sensitive version a go. The aroma has diminished now and left with a very subtle fragrance but the immediate smell is vile.
