I say she looks like the definition of frumpy but she's a fashionista so I can't be right, can I?

You need to scroll down past Kate's new hairdo ...

Don't like it, shoes awful. I do like the fabric, great in a nice figure hugging dress. Trousers are vile!

MaryHansack · 31/07/2012 00:02

she is just not pretty nor is she a 'clothes horse' - plus she looks cold and arrogant.

MintChocAddict · 31/07/2012 00:06

I think it's her hair. She'd look far better if it wasn't scraped back all the time.

anniewoo · 31/07/2012 00:40

I agree about the hair. She doesn't make the most of herself

cocolepew · 31/07/2012 00:46

She appears to be wearing curtains.

SusanBecks · 31/07/2012 03:23

or possibly a nasty sofa cover.

KandyBarr · 31/07/2012 09:09

She often looks fantastic, but that's a hard outfit to love.

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 31/07/2012 09:11

Money can't buy a smile that's for sure Wink

Chandon · 31/07/2012 10:02

I'd say it's Lesbian Chic, not frumpy.

ClaudiaCutie · 31/07/2012 12:25

That blue outfit is just horrendous. It looks like something Edina would have worn in Ab Fab ("McCartney, daaaaarling. McCartney. Yah"). As for Kate's hair: cripes. It's drabbo. It makes her look like a 45 year old accounts clerk. No Kate no!

MsKayGee · 31/07/2012 15:22

She looks a state, like she's nicked some curtains from a stately home and used them to make herself a suit on her sewing machine. Her hips look disproportionately wide too.

SirEdmundFrillary · 31/07/2012 17:42

Why are you all so worried about this frumpy thing? Why?

cocolepew · 31/07/2012 17:54

Thats quite insulting to lesbians.

mewkins · 31/07/2012 18:22

Yes sir ed, agreed. Frumpy seems to be the new catch all for 'not what I would wear'. It's a word that means absolutely nothing. Plenty of adjectives available to diss outfit choices. Shame not to use them.

DonaAna · 31/07/2012 18:24

No, she is the one who defines what is stylish for the rest of us. Give her a break, she's a working mother too.

BonnieBumble · 31/07/2012 18:50

I think she is very pretty. Always dresses awful and looks like she has no idea how to put an outfit together. I imagine she could wear something from BHS and convince people it was trendy just because of who she is.

CaroleService · 31/07/2012 20:32

Never mind Stella's curtains.

The weird thighs I mean.

MaryHansack · 31/07/2012 21:31

what does that have to do with Stella and her strange outfits?

Melty · 31/07/2012 21:50

Maybe its me, I confess not to being very stylish and a but conservative, but I think most of the designers look a bit frumpy and have a dragged through a hedge backwards look to be honest.
I met Nicole Fahri once, and couldn't believe how messy she looked. Some people can do that whole "threw someting together" look and look trendy but she looked a bit like a bag lady.
Donatella Versace?
Vivienne Westwood?
Betsey Johnson?
Generally they look like they have never been introduced to an iron or a hairbrush.
The men dont look too bad, (apart from Karl Lagerfields pony tail)
But you know, what do I know....

DameDoom · 31/07/2012 23:21

Saw Stella with Lineker on t'Olympics tonight - she should not channel rock chick hair - even Kate Moss can't carry it off anymore. She looked unkempt and a right old mess. There was far too much Botox in forehead and not enough filler in nose to mouth lines. However, she did seem quite a pleasant lady who just, unfortunately, has a dead miserable boat ( bit like me then).

FrancesFarmer · 01/08/2012 00:13

No, she's not frumpy but some of her clothing choices are a bit "out there" or avant garde. Which is par for the course for fashion designers.

tiddlypool · 01/08/2012 21:41

"not enough filler in nose to mouth lines"

I would say any filler is too much filler.

ToastedTeacakes · 03/08/2012 08:10

i cant even see any nose and mouth lines, apart from the regular movement of her face, and the part where her cheeks move when speaking. this terror of looking human is so freaky.
