I have been out of work a few months and always fail interviews, I have just posted another thread asking for tips but I would also appreciate some style advice, so here I am!

I have four interviews this week.

All office/reception based, customer service and sales.

What do I wear? How do I do my hair, makeup etc?

Average height, size ten, boob-length hair with a fringe, will only wear a skirt if I can wear tights too!

Thanks

I don't think it's possible to be too smartly dressed for an interview (except maybe in v trendy sectors), so I would err on the formal side - suit type outfit, smart hair, clean shoes, neat make up etc.

What Hopefully said, basically. Plain suit, contemporary plain and simple top (i.e. not a pussybow blouse or anything frilly), jewellery should be simple, hair up or at least back. Re makeup, enough to look well-groomed but not overly glam.

Basically you don't want them to remember you for your appearance.

Very best of luck!

and really neat nails, neutral coloured (or not painted at all), because they will automatically see your hands when they reach out to shake your hand at the start or end of the interview.

Good luck
