I REALLY want to have my colours done but Im skint.
I look so washed out
I think i am summer-blonde hair and green/blue/grey eyes, skin that tans-i think warm (?) but i have rosacea so Ive been pink for a while Smile

I normally wear bright colours and blacks--which i think is probably all wrong?

how can i tell if Im 'warm' or 'cool'--my skin looks neither blue or yellow (to me untrained eye) Confused

is there any colours which are good for 'summers' whether warm or cool?

do i just need to bite the bullet, and go get it done?

Do you suit orange? Which colours are you drawn to?

bejeezus · 30/07/2012 14:25

thanks for replying

no, i dont suit orange

i dont know what im drawn to anymore Confused

mostly bright aqua blue/ pink...im more drawn to patterns/designs/fabric than actually colour...I like bright/surfer chic/ clashing bright colours

And black and dark denim

I dont like grey/beige/neutral colours...but am thinking this might be where I am going wrong Smile

do you think you suit blues and pinks? Have you tried working it out using any online tools?

I am a cool summer (apparently, she took a long time "diagnosing" me).

I am pale with freckles (Scottish), mid-dark brown hair, blue eyes. The colours that suit me, which I never used to buy but do really make me look better are:

mushroom-y colours, greys, petrol blue, emerald green and dusky pinks and coral (the pinky coral, not the orangey one). Beige if it is stone/mushroomy but not if it is yellow based.

I must admit that they do suit me, although it is hard to try and buy in these colours after so many years of buying black! Also hard to make sure that I don't ust buy something because it's in my colours, I have to remember that I need to like it too!

Good Luck!

Ok...so I looked on line, then went to try some stuff on after work....

Grey is good, as is mushroomy/stoney beige as you suggested wicked fairy and coral. And peachy beige! Also light/baby blue.

All colours I would NEVER have chosen...but they really look better!

So, that makes me cool-summer? I think...
