Does it make a difference to keep all products to the same brand, or is mix and match just as good??

I just mean for your face (rather than all products for everything which would be silly). But for example does it really work better if you have your moisturiser/primer/foundation all from the same brand, or if you mix and match does it make no difference?

Mix and match all the way for me. I am not bothered.

Mix and match here too.

Its usually the girls on the make up counters who tell you this, and I have always been mix and match, but I just wondered if it did actually make any difference??

Definitely mix and match.
Also, I was in Space NK on Sunday and the make-up artist offered to try a few products on me. He spent about an hour with me showing me all his favourites. He definitely mix and match and what he did looked amazing on me. I wish I could replicate it at home!
