Floaty skirts with long back and short front?

They look lovely and summery and slightly tempted but I'm wondering If it wouldn't suit my shape which is curvy petite size 10 on a good day! And also whether you should only wear if your legs are 17 years old??? So flattering??? Or steer clear???

These are a pet dislike of mine because I think they look like a skirt tucked into knickers accident. However, I think they are not a) unflattering b) age specific, so if you like them go for it.

A lot of girls are wearing them here on holiday and a few have been worn to weddings here (guests not brides) I can't quite see the point. Either wear a long skirt or a short skirt...Hmm

The skirts look hideous IMO but that could be because I have been surrounded by particularly hideous polyester versions sported by the 18 year olds at college! I have a maxi dress in this style, however, which I love. The skirt section has lots of fabric which drapes beautifully so there isn't such a stark difference between front and back lengths, if that makes sense? It's only when you step forward that you flash a bit of leg.

Not keen tbh.

I like the idea of them but whenever I have really looked at them I always find the front is very short........far too short for my legs.

mrsmopsmissingmojo · 30/07/2012 12:09

I think I'm just going to abandon the whole idea altogether! Lol

So glad I asked though, as otherwise everyone would be looking at me thinking Hmm !!!
