Perfume upgrade needed

I wear Paul Smith Rose at the moment,.but it doesn't last all day. Any ideas for similar perfume that lasts a bit longer?

you need a parfum not an eau de toilette for lastingness (is that a word??)

Stella McCartney (original one) is a rose based fragrance.

do you want a rose soliflore with reach and sillage? try the rosines line, or lutens sa majeste or the goutal roses. ysl paris is a rose based perfume and the parfum is lovely.

i like luca turin's description of stella as a perfume for people who don't like perfume

sillage = how long it lasts
reach = how far the perfume travels

serge lutens, annick goutal and parfums de rosine (all composed around rose and you can get a sample set) all niche perfume houses

search fragrantica.com for rose based scents or even post your question there. fumeheads will pounce in minutes.

soliflore= perfume composed around the note of one flower.

I've used flowers before and it doesn't last very well either

I had exactly the same problem and switched to Stella EDT which faded pretty quickly on me too, so I tried the eau de parfum and it's perfect.

Funny, it lasts well on me! Well I suppose it is due to different chemistry!
