Coldsore scarring

I had eight nasty coldsores on my nose until about a month ago. They've all gone but the previously smooth skin on my nose is now lumpy, red and looked scarred.

What works to reduce the redness (this isn't sore) and lumpiness? I have used bio oil in he past but the smell put me off a bit. I'm bfing.

Vitamin e is good for healing also lots of sunscreen - sunburn/tanning will make the redness last longer.
