is this dress nice or cheap looking - worried it looks like it'd crease! dress

Well I like it :)

dexter73 · 28/07/2012 08:36

I think even if it did crease all the draping would hide it.

loolooskiptotheloo · 28/07/2012 08:37

thanks Stella, it just seems to good to be true, i really like it and it's cheap (trying to find flaws!)

You can always return it if it is no good.

loolooskiptotheloo · 28/07/2012 09:51

that's true dexter, thanks. Looking again i think it's a bit short for me, might buy it and see though...next question which colour?

It won't crease too badly as it's a stretch jersey (viscose/elastane blend). I would go for the navy. Navy always looks more expensive IMO.

loolooskiptotheloo · 28/07/2012 18:25

thanks ujjayi, is stretch jersey a bit cheap looking...was thinking of it for a wedding you see, i like the style as i think it'll be flattering on my big tum!

OP posts:
ujjayi · 28/07/2012 18:49

It shouldn't be cheap looking. It should look like cotton jersey rather than polyester jersey (which is the work of the devil IMO).

It will be flattering to a tummy as long as the length is good. Short dresses with a bit of a tummy can look a bit mutton but we're talking pelmet to mid thigh range :o. If that's an inch or two above the knee it will do what you want it to do.

loolooskiptotheloo · 28/07/2012 18:49

another one is this nicer?

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 28/07/2012 18:55

I like the first one more, in the dark colour.

Steam it in the shower to get any creases out.

valiumredhead · 28/07/2012 19:36

The first one in the darker colour is nicer imo :)

loolooskiptotheloo · 28/07/2012 20:41

right, first one in the darker colour...i'm thinking spray tan, nude heels and what bag? is it twee to match bag to shoes? what nail varnish? i;m useless aren't i?!

OP posts:
loolooskiptotheloo · 29/07/2012 22:38

shameless bump, i really need help with accessories please

OP posts:
ujjayi · 30/07/2012 07:15

Personally I don't like nude heels.

I would go for navy or tan and a non-matchy clutch bag. The dress is statement enough so I would wear a very simple pair of stud earrings and a delicate bracelet OR choose between a cuff bracelet and statement earrings but not both together - otherwise it strays into evening wear more than wedding attire.

thanks ujjayi. Have been looking at bags and shoes online this morning but I think i'll wait for the dress to arrive before i buy anything, just in case i don't like it. Thanks for your help :)
