Ah, BUT. I have a on the knee-length denimy skirt from Per Una. It's a back fastening, no pockets and very thin fabric dark blue denim with light blue denim polka dots. It is slinky as hell, goes with everything and I never fail to pull get compliments wearing it. So it is all about the detail.

That skirt is about ten years old, mind. Per Una seems to have aged a lot faster than I have.

Kate does look frightfully frumpy in that dress, but the long denim skirt on the well covered model wins hands down.

I'm not a fan of denim skirts, ones that are made of proper denim not that soft swishy denim. I always think they make people's hips look quite wide.

I would like to nominate this thing that is apparently a dress.

pootle I think when they say 'fancy top', they might mean this

turquoise that looks weirdly photoshopped on. Maybe the model refused to wear it.
