What do you wear if you have a bit of a fat tummy?

I'm in a bit of a style rut, I seem to spend my life in jeans and plain tshirts. I used to have a waist, but two children and far too many tasty treats have taken their tollvand now I'm a size 16. I look a bit like one of those novelty lollipops, big boobs and big belly on slim legs.

I have no clue where to start. I'm a SAHM to a toddler and baby so need to be practical, but I feel like the most boring 27 year old in the world compared to my friends!

No, I have exactly the same problem! I also wear jeans almost all the time, but never wear t-shirts. They just cling to my wobbly bits and make me look square. In summer, I often wear very thin cotton tops which gather with a drawstring at the bottom. I know, sounds a bit rank, but they're really flattering as they emphasise your slim hips/bottom, and skim over your wobbly belly.

When dressing up a bit, empire line dresses are fab, as long as they're not too billowy - you don't want people asking when you're due Blush.

Drapes - anything drapey is good. And skinny jeans if your legs are slim (I'm exactly the same shape, so if anyone can link to drapey tops that would be luuuurvely)

Long tops not too baggy with tight jeans
