Going on holiday on Sunday and need a high SPF face cream. Any recommendations? Can't really see myself spend more then £10 max.
Thank you oh wise ladies in advance.

Once from boots. Usually 2 for 1 offer. Factor 30 with 5 stars.

Once for the face rather then general suncream I mean to say. Lasts 8 hours.

cosysocks · 24/07/2012 23:13

Thanks holy. Is that the Soltan one? Just googled, seems reasonable.

Yes they do a Soltan for face SPF 50 which is fine

No 7 do nice one for face. It's £10 ATM in boots but also on 3 for 2, the regular no 7 sun cream is great too. I use the factor 30 every year in middle east summers

Why not ditch the moisturisers and get a good quality Sunscreen with both UVA/UVB protection. Use this daily and take a light moisturiser for the evening, but most people don't need this as the sunscreen will provide ample moisture throughout the day.

My favourites are Heliocare or Sun Sense from Australia (available JL and Waitrose)

Enjoy your holiday but look after your skin!

the aldi lacura spf30 one is fab

none greasy and sinks in really well

and i think its less than a fiver

forevergreek · 25/07/2012 20:51

The no 7 one I mentioned is a face suncream SPF 30 and 5star UVA rating

peggyblackett · 25/07/2012 20:53

Another vote for no.7, it's excellent and has given my sensitive face no trouble at all.
