I'm completely with you on the boredom/mundanity of being at home all day dona. Also I agree with you re clothing styles. The Sienna Miller boho era was a very difficult one for me. I remember being at the airport and hundreds of gypsy tiered skirts coming towards me. Vintage is another one that brings me out in a cold sweat. It is also difficult to live stylishly rurally as all the functional clothing out there is of the natural persuasion. But I quite enjoy the challenge.
Have been again to the lo pool this morning. It is full of local people, so I'm pleased I'm toned and have a flattering swimming costume. It is a bit odd to be sitting the toddler pool and have unknown dads recognise me and talk to me though.
I am awaiting the FC order I pinned on Sunday.
The IO dress I had high hopes for was no good.
The boden high suede shoe boots were lovely, but impractical, so I've sent them back.
Jigsaw fedora is fabulous.

Off to C tomorrow sans enfants, to see what is left out there!

of course Amber that is the worry.. the baby! I hate leaving my babies that first time I go back (and actually, personally, was in no hurry to return, mind you I have never taken a full year out maybe I would feel differently if I did)

While I was on ML I think DD2 spent about 20 minutes without me. She was traumatised I think that first day I left her with nanny. Plus I was trying to wean her on bottle etc. Poor little thing :(

The DDs were fairly good so we are going to take them out to dinner in Richmond today. DH is in a spending mood which is good fun!

I find being at home quite dull at times but it is the best thing for us for now. I'll definitely be looking for a job in the next couple of years though.

I'm thinking I'd like a small cross body bag for my holidays just for wallet, lipstick and phone. I quite like the M by MJ camera bags in black leather or blue nylon.
I am basing my holiday wardobe round the toucan scarf, so maybe I should venture away from black. Bright pink or green would also work. this is green, and could also work Any comments would be useful. Thanks!

Go for bright but not patent Bloss and not black! (at park with DC wearing cobalt COS shift, black fake leather leggings, green Zatchel. Have worn it every single day during my hols.)

It's quite difficult to find bags with silver HW atm - I normally don't like gold but now that rose gold is in I saw the Cookie Bayswater in rose gold and thought it was lovely. Bloss have gotten compliments for my small fuchsia MJ bag (but no waitresses swooning over - you need a Wang for that).
