hairdressers near derby/nottingham please

hi, i'm new here. hello hello
Can anyone give me any recommendations for a hairdressers who is good at cutting around derby or nottingham area. I have thick link wavy hair and i want a funky choppy sort of style.

watching this with interest, I went to Aveda in Nottingham last week but not overly happy with it - dont rate Aveda Derby either. Keith Halls in Long Eaton is OK - lady called Mandy there did a really good cut for me earlier this year, not sure if she could do funky though - my hair is pretty boring! If you find someone good let me know!

Sutherland and Barnett in Nottingham are worth a go.

Agree with above poster although my fav place is Real on Melton road in west bridgford. Emma is brill! Have heard the Keith hall here is good too. Good luck!

Derbynotts i didn't think much of aveda either, in derby or nottm. Lottie Sutherland and B made a mess of my hair, thinned it out too much - it could have been the stylist i had tho.

Beetroots not far from Nottingham city centre the owner or Dom are great :) Not tried the other two that work thier :)

I'm watching this thread closely as I live between derby and nottingham and have it hard finding a hairdresser i trust and like. I tried Sally montague in derby - ok , sutherland and b in Nottm again ok ish but not right for me.

I'm wandering about trying Sassoons - there's on in Nottm -
Has anyone here had experience of them?

Hi me again yes Beetroots is just off the Valley rd its on Scotland rd just across from the primary school prices are VERY GOOD. Service is second to none lovely and friendly.

I use Actu'elle in Duffield near Derby. Really rate them, have got very thick, curly/wavy hair too. Very friendly, nothing is too much trouble!
