Converse or Vans

I currently own a couple of pairs of converse, which I love. I wear them with numerous outfits and find them comfy.

Am now on the lookout for some comfy white pumps and can't decide whether to purchase some white converse or go for white Vans.

What do you think?

Cons, but I would say that, I have a lifetime of brand loyalty. Love my white ones in the summer.

Vans!!

I heart converse, but they're wider fitting, which I need. Another one with a lifetime love affair, I've been wearing Converse allstars since I was a stoodint in the nineties.

I have wide feet, around the toes, Vans fit my feet better.

Converse! I have just bought a pair of the slim Ox style in white and they are lovely. The slim profile is really flattering too.

I’m 48,
Are white converse All stars (not high tops) still considered cool or are they too common/ boring?
I’m thinking they are a classic and and always look ok, but maybe I’m wrong?
My style is quite simple and not too much fuss.
