deperately need new winter boots, preferably black with a mid-low heel

to wear with bootcut jeans (I know I know, but one step at a time)

I'm going to go and try some skinny jeans on tomorrow but expect I'll have the usual horror at the sight of me in them and quickly revert to my bootcuts - so some non frumpy boots would help
