I dyed it on thursday. after being brunette for years, I thought I would go blonde, didnt like it, so went back to chestnut. however, just looked at some pics and you can see that its quite patchy. how long before I can sort it out?

I'm no hairdresser so no idea how bad it is for your hair but I've redone mine the next day with no ill effects.

Personally, I'd put another one on.. Maybe a deep red?
BUT you can buy stuff for about ten quid which will strip it all. I'll try and find a link Smile

thank you!! I will probably go to the hairdresser tbh, I will only balls it up again.

Prob not the best link in the world, but you get the idea.
I'm 36 & only started dying my hair 6 months ago. Doesn't take long to build up your confidence x

Ive seen that, I dont want to strip my hair, I want it pretty chestnut. the actual colour was perfect, but it was the patchiness thats an issue. thank you though!

Mine went really patchy last time. I was putting a permanent dye on after stripping chunks with bleach to use a bright purple directions colour. A second pack the next day sorted it out.
