Overhaul a Limp Barnet

I have an inkling I am a bit frumpy, and the shoe thread today confirmed it. I need a hairdo change.

I have very fine blonde hair, which is a nice colour and in good condition but has been about the same since I was about 13. Ie a few inches below shoulder, all one length. Currently have a straight fringe, have experimented with this and the odd long layer periodically.

I am in the post-partum hairloss period, and it's looking lank, shapeless and I have no energy to do anything difficult with it. At the best of times my hair is a bit limp. So please help, I am ready to follow advice.

I have an oval face (I think), a bit chubby of cheek, chin not as firm as it was. I am a bit lazy, but do run a BigHair under my fringe most days. I want to look a bit more groomed and vibrant rather than limp-lazy-ponytailed (which I have to double over to disguise the thinness). But I don't have time to expend styling. Any help appreciated.
